Kylie is our in-house Certified Personal Trainer with a lifelong passion for health, movement, and helping women and teenagers discover everything they are capable of. She has spent most of her life as a casual athlete, and has always had the goal to live until she is 90 years old through a healthy and active lifestyle. Kylie has spent over 15 years of her career working with children, youth, and families providing recreational activities, inspiring young girls to continue being active, and mentoring young people and their families during some of their most difficult life stages.
As a trauma sensitive trainer, Kylie believes fitness should never feel intimidating. She strives to create a warm, safe, and judgment free zone, meeting you where you’re at, and working with your strengths and individual needs. Whether you’re just starting your fitness journey, looking to get back into it, working through injuries or setbacks, or hoping to crush a goal you’ve always had your mind on, Kylie will work with you to build a sustainable program that works with your life, and helps you feel more confident in your body.
Kylie believes that strength training is so much more than how we look - it’s about building resilience, increasing confidence, improving our physical and our mental wellness, and developing the strength to fully enjoy everyday life for many years to come.
She spends her free time with her family, friends, and doggos. She loves a good leg day, uses running (and most workouts) as stress relief and as a way to explore new cities, becomes more energized after spending time in nature on hikes, and has most recently learned how to golf (sort of).
Peak Wellness was created after she completed the hardest adventure in her life - Ha Ling in Canmore, Alberta. After the first hour and half, Kylie wasn’t sure she was going to make it. Somehow she found it in herself to push past the burning quads, and finish a 4 hour - nearly 8,000 feet - climb to the top of the mountain.
With every client she meets, her goal is to help them push past physical and mental obstacles, develop skills and strength to accomplish any wild and crazy adventure they set their mind to!
